divers extras
In this case, “divers” is not the plural of people who jump into water. We use it in the classical, anglophile meaning of “various.” Why not call it “miscellaneous?” Because that didn’t fit on the navigation button.
marketing links
In the old days of the web (8 years ago or so), lots of people’s initial sites had links to other pages. The web was new, and we wanted to let people know that we weren’t the only pioneers out there. I think of it like the signpost on “MASH” that had arrows pointing to San Francisco, Rome, Austin, etc. It helped us to feel less isolated.
These days, it’s considered somewhat gauche; people know how to use search engines and are perfectly capable of finding their own sites, thank you. Yeah... I guess... but now we have the opposite problem. There are so many sites out there that sometimes a point in the right direction can be helpful. That’s what this is. These are marketing sites we find very useful. If you’d like to recommend one to us, please write.
tools
Similar to links, but, strictly speaking, more like helpful resources.
quotes
As mentioned earlier, we are word people. We like other people’s words, too, and so here’s a collection of them -- some related to marketing, some not -- that we’d like to share. Again, if you have any you’d like to add, shoot us a note.
